I am going to Matamoros, Mexico and it is located on the southern bank of the Rio Grande, directly across from Brownsville, Texas.

I am not sure exactly what ministries I will be involved in, but I do know I will be working with the First Year Missionaries that are currently there serving for 9 months. Some of the ministries that the FYM's do are: Prison ministry, Orphanage, Walk on Water: Random Neighborhood Acts of Kindness, Hospital Ministry and a Local Church that we partner with.

I am looking forward to seeing this group of people again, as I met some of them at training camp in September. I'm excited to see how the base is run and the daily struggles that they face. I know God is going to teach me things in Mexico that will change the way I look at our country here in the United States.  I will be there from November 29—December 8, please keep my team and I in your prayers! I will post lots of pictures and let you know how my trip went when I get back!
